MATTHEWS (SYDNEY)

BRETT DANIEL MATTHEWS appeared in the Parramatta bail court today where he faced a
charge of attempted murder and also a number of firearms offences.

MATTHEWS is alleged to have fired numerous shots from two guns yesterday afternoon
following a dispute with family members who were visiting a Cameron Street home.

No one was injured.





MATTHEWS did not apply for bail and magistrate GEORGE MILLER adjourned the case to
the Penrith Magistrates' Court TOMORROW.

MATTHEWS is also charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and two counts
of dealing with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
