NSW: Boy, 14, charged with causing $50,000 damage at school
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with maliciously destroying or damaging propertyafter almost $50,000 worth of damage was caused at a secondary school in Sydney's west.
Police say the boy, from Springwood, also has been charged with three counts of break and enter.
The offences allegedly took place at the school on Friday.
The boy has been granted bail and will appear at Cobham Children's Court on September 2.
