NSW: ICAC report into public sector
SYDNEY, Dec 14 AAP - Ongoing changes in the New South Wales public sector increased the
risk of corruption, an Independent Commission Against Corruption report has found.
ICAC commissioner Barry OKeefe will tomorrow release his report into corruption prevention
and research, titled Ethics: The Key To Good Management.
It examines the key risk factors for public sector agencies with suspect ethical cultures.
The report found changes such as corporatisation and contracting out had increased
corruption risks by contributing to the possible breakdown of workplace ethics.
